The College of Agriculture and Natural Resources, in collaboration with the Center of Excellence, organized a tree planting campaign at the Enechifo-Yewbi Research Station. Staff members of the College, together with staff from the Office of the Vice President for Research and Community Service, actively participated in the campaign.

Over the past three days, more than 3,000 seedlings, including grevillea, guava, avocado, coffee, and other tree species, have been planted to establish a live fence around the research station. The tree planting campaign will continue in the coming days, with more than 7,000 seedlings planned to be planted in total.

The initiative aims to contribute to environmental conservation, strengthen the research station’s green infrastructure, and promote sustainable agricultural and natural resource management practices.
